Covid-19 Level 4
Updated 5th April 2020 – FOXY BOXY is Open. Courier network is not showing delays. Orders placed today will dispatch tomorrow (Monday).
Dear Customers & Community,
FOXY BOXY sells a range of “Essentials”- food and beverages, that qualify for sale during Level 4.
FOXY BOXY is a small business run from a converted pottery studio on our property, therefore we will still be able to dispatch orders over the next 4 week lock down. FOXY BOXY is exclusively an online store. Our gift hampers are couriered all over New Zealand. FOXY BOXY can play an important part in improving the lives of all New Zealanders in home isolation during the lock down and we can do it safely.
We are isolated and can operate in a contact-free environment. We are maintaining our very high standard of sanitation during fulfillment and dispatch.
While our stock levels are currently high, we do expect to sell out of some of our most popular gift boxes in the coming weeks.
We are happy that our gift boxes can still keep our communities safe and connected. You won’t need to miss out on sending your ‘happy birthday’ or ‘thinking of you’ gift boxes during the next 4 weeks, while you can’t be there.
We’re taking the following strict precautions to ensure everyone’s safety at all steps of our service:
- We are working in isolation
- Incredibly high standard of sanitation during fulfillment and dispatch
- There is a contact-free courier collection in place
All orders will be dispatched with our usual speedy time-frame. You can expect your orders to be packed the same day (week days) and ready for courier collection. If there is a delay with the courier pick-up we will let you know via email.
We have a contact-free pick up point for the courier. This will help maintain the safety of both our couriers and our customers. CourierPost has put all possible plans and precautions in place to maintain their current service levels whilst ensuring the safety of our people, our customers and community.
NZ Post couriers (including CourierPost and Pace) will knock on the door as usual and step back two metres (or as far back as safe). They will wait for someone to come to the door and greet them as usual. If no one comes to the door, the courier will follow the standard process which is to leave the item in a safe place or leave a card to call and return to depot if there is no safe place.
If proof of age is required NZ Post couriers (including CourierPost and Pace) they will ask for the recipient’s name (to record proof of delivery) and see appropriate photo identification. The person receiving the parcel will not sign for the delivery directly.
At this stage we are seeing all our gift boxes delivered in a 1 to 3 day window. This may change and there may potentially be delivery delays in the coming weeks and we will update this page accordingly.
Thank You and Keep Safe
Thank you for stopping by and thank you for your support. We are proud of our New Zealand artisan suppliers and we feel blessed to continue to sell their products and support their businesses during these troubling times.
Please stay safe lovely people of New Zealand!
From all the FOXY BOXY team
